# Separating timelimit from Super Verification

Today we are pleased to announce the separation of timelimit from Super Verification.

You are now able to use verification timelimit with normal verification too.

# Timelimit

The timelimit has to be at least 60 seconds so humans have a chance of passing the captcha. To prevent clogging up our systems too much, there is a upper limit of a week.

If you have a good reason for lower/higher limits, please contact us! We are curious about your use-case and open to adjust these limits.

# What happens after the timelimit?

After the timelimit expires, The Cleaner will check the user's roles. If they do not have any roles, they are kicked. If they do have a role, it's assumed they verified in some way and are not kicked.

So make sure all reaction role channels are locked behind verification.

# What happens to Super Verification?

Super Verification is not going away. We've updated the tutorials for setting it up and will warn you if your timelimit is above 8 minutes (you are free to use less).

Also we've added more permissions related warnings and a warning if your Discord verification level is not on High.

# More to come?

We are excited to see all of you who need it to be able to increase their server's security even more than previously possible.

We are still performing some tests (especially load related) for our Join Guard solution and are hoping to release it to the public soon.
