# Guild-wide 2FA now applies to the Dashboard

The "Guild-wide 2FA" or "Require 2FA for moderator actions" is a Discord setting that the server owner can enable.

Once enabled, all members need to enable 2FA on their Discord account before being able to perform moderator actions, such as deleting messages or banning members.

Now, unlike previously, members who have access to the Dashboard will need to enable 2FA on their account to modify the settings of your server if guild-wide 2FA is enabled.

# Zero Trust MFA

Your Discourd 2FA/MFA settings are independent of The Cleaner's own MFA integration for Zero Trust.

Having Discord 2FA enabled does not bypass The Cleaner's MFA requirement, and vise-versa.

If you have the guild-wide 2FA and The Cleaner's MFA enabled, members will need both to perform changes to the Dashboard.
