# Join Guard

Still in beta

Join Guard is currently still in beta and only available to some select servers.

We are trying to improve the performance and user experience of it before launching it to everyone.

Join Guard completely replaces the normal Discord invitation flow of using invites. By enabling Join Guard you force everyone to verify before they even join your server.

After verification users are added by The Cleaner using the guilds.join scope.

The guilds.join scope allows The Cleaner to technically add the user to any server the bot wants, which is why some users may not feel comfortable verifying this way and make them not join your server.

# How does it work

All users have to use our special join link which will verify them before they even join the server.

Users joining through normal invites will be immediately kicked.

# Setup

Remove the Create Invite permission from all roles
Enable Join Guard on the Dashboard
Start using the special join link on the Dashboard instead of regular invites.
