# About & Team

The Cleaner (at that point called Mr Clean) was created in early 2021 as a small antiraid bot for my private server. After teaching The Cleaner how to detect phishing in July '21, he was also added to a few servers of friends moderating up to 10k users.

In September Mr Clean was rebranded to The Cleaner and made public.

On Februrary 21st The Cleaner reached 76 servers and was verified on March 18th.
